West Indies’ Sheldon Cottrell Praises MS Dhoni And His Wife For A Special Reason

On 2nd April 2018, MS Dhoni was conferred with the Padma Bhushan, which is the third-highest civilian award, exactly seven years after India won the World Cup 2011 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. It was one of the best and memorable moments for all the fans of MS Dhoni.

Watching MS Dhoni march towards the President in his Army uniform to receive the honor was hands-down was a ‘goosebumps moment’ for all the fans.

Recently, West Indies pacer Sheldon Cottrell stumbled upon this video of MS Dhoni receiving the honor from President. Sheldon was all praises for MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni, who was also present at the moment.

Sakshi Dhoni was also there at the Rashtrapati Bhawan to watch her husband add another feather in his hat. With moist eyes, and her face glowing with proudness, Sakshi Dhoni watched her husband in awe as he received the honor.

Sheldon shared the video of MS Dhoni and Sakshi Dhoni, showering praises on the couple. In his tweet, he wrote how he made his friends and family watch the video. Furthermore, he wrote heartouching lines about one’s love for the country and partner. He wrote:

“I shared this video with friends and family because they know how I feel about honour but the moment between wife and husband truly shows an inspirational kind of love for country and partner. Please enjoy as I did,”

Yet again, MS Dhoni has shown his love for the army as he made himself unavailable for the upcoming tour to West Indies, in order to serve in the Indian army.

MS Dhoni, who is an Honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Parachute Regiment of the Territorial Army is all set to serve his unit from July 31 to August 15. The veteran will be with the unit in the Kashmir Valley as a part of the Victor Force and will be staying with the troops. Soon, India’s most loved MS Dhoni will be seen patrolling guard and post duty.
