Twitter Trolls Shane Warne Mercilessly Over Silly Umpiring Comment

The 4th Test match of Ashes series 2019 is underway at Old Trafford, Manchester and the 2 giants, Australia and England are battling it out for the little urn. With the visitors in the driving seat at present, a controversy has emerged from the event, as Shane Warne made a controversial comment over the umpiring standards while on-air.  The veteran leg-spinner stated that umpires should give their decisions based on the number of reviews left with the team.

After the competition of 3 Test matches, the series is currently levelled at 1-1, with 2nd Test match producing no winners. The 4th Test match is on the verge of its competition as the 3rd innings is under the proceeding with Australia building a massive lead. England scored only 301 runs in reply to Australia’s 497 runs. Steve Smith has been the real warrior for Australia in this series so far.

Apart from the match, a whole new controversy has been given birth by the on-screen commentator Shane Warne. Warne first started the debate over the comparison of Steve
Smith and Virat Kohli as to who is the better batsman. The cricketer turned commentator stated that the Australian star is better in the red ball cricket whereas the Indian skipper is best among all the formats.

Just as soon as this debate went off, a new controversy has now emerged which involves the umpiring issues. Warne gave this opinion while discussing the wrong umpiring decisions which are spotted in almost every match.

Shane Warne during his commentary session stated that the on-field umpires must give their decision based on the number of reviews left with the team. This controversy took a whole new turn as Twitter started reacting to it in its own way. It took the entire world with a shock as his statement obstructed the fair gameplay rules of cricket.
