Deepak Chahar, the young Indian speedster, gave the Men in Blue a much needed solid start with the ball on a good batting pitch. He bundled up Bangladesh taking India to the victory side in the three-match Twenty20 International series.
He was exceptional with his variations as he delivered his career’s best figures of 6/7 in the final T20I to help India seal the series. The skipper, Rohit Sharma pulled the pacer in the death overs and he turned the tables for Men in Blue. He was at his spectacular best in the death overs which has now become a luxury alongside Jasprit Bumrah for team India ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2020.
Deepak became the first Indian to pick a hat-trick in T20Is and also returned the best-ever bowling figures in T20Is.
Minutes after the game ended, the social media was flooded with posts and messages appreciating the young speedster of India for his incredible performance. From fans to cricketers, everyone took to their social media and poured in praises for Chahar.
Amidst all the appreciation post, there was this one special heartfelt post, which was from none other than his sister Malti Chahar. She took to her Instagram account and expressed her delight over the performance of her brother. She wrote:
“So so so so so proud of you😘😘😘 To the hat-trick and best figure 3.2-0-7-6 in international t20😘😘😘 OMG..I still have goosebumps 😘😘 @deepak_chahar9 love you brother 😘😘 more power to you❤️❤️❤️”
