Eventually, it was all smiles for the Indian cricket team, however, the moment of the day really came when Virat Kohli took the tradition ahead by handing over the winner’s trophy to uncapped wicketkeeper KS Bharat.

Well, it has been a tradition in the Indian camp where the winner’s trophy is handed over to the youngest player of the team. The tradition was started by none other than the captain ‘cool’, MS Dhoni and is now being taken ahead by Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

Talking about KS Bharat, he has been a regular for India A in the longest format. He was bought by Delhi Capitals in 2015 but was soon released and is yet to get a franchise in IPL since then. So far, the uncapped player has played 69 games, scoring 3,909 runs at an average of 37.58.
