Twitterati Are All Praises For The Amazing Catch Taken By Virat Kohli To Dismiss Labuschagne

In the ongoing third and decider match between India and Australia, the middle order batsmen Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne were looking solid as they were smashing the Indian bowlers to all the corners of the ground. The Men in Blue needed a major breakthrough to end this partnership. This is when the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli did something special and brought an end to this partnership.

Ahead of the match, the Australian skipper Aaron Finch won the toss and opted to field first. As the innings began, the in-form Australian openers David Warner and Aaron Finch failed to make it big for their team, second time in a row as they were dismissed early in the game. David Warner could only score  7 runs before Mohammed Shami made him edge one behind the stumps to KL Rahul and sent him back to pavilion.

Aaron Finch couldn’t make it big either and he and Smith Steve were seen in a comical mix-up which resulted in the dismissal of the former. The Australian skipper was upset with Steve Smith after a run-out that brought an end to his innings.

The middle-order steadied the ship to set a big total for the Indian cricket team to chase, however, the Indian skipper dismissed Marnus Labuschagne and turned the tables. Virat Kohli pulled off a stunning catch to send back Labuschagne soon after the cricketer crossed his half-century mark.

The stunning catch came out of Ravindra Jadeja’s delivery that was slightly outside off and Labuschagne went for a smashing inside-out shot, however, he ended up hitting the shot in the air. And the ball eventually ended in the safest hands of our Indian skipper who dived across the full length and took the catch.

After getting hold of the ball, Virat Kohli pointed his finger to his lips and brought the entire stadium to life.
