Twitterati Lauds Rashid Khan As He Takes His Fifth T20 Hat-trick

Rashid Khan, the Afghanistan and Adelaide Strikers all-rounder has been setting the ongoing Big Bash League tournament ablaze with his impeccable performance. Today the all-rounder went on to script his fifth hat-trick in the shortest format of the game.

He achieved this milestone in the ongoing match between Adelaide Strikers against Sydney Sixers in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL). Rashid Khan bundled up the top batsmen of Sydney Sixers as he dismissed Jack Edwards, James Vince and Jack Edwards on successive balls to achieve the feat.

The video of the hat-trick was shared by the official Twitter account of Big Bash League. Sharing the video, they wrote:

Rashid Khan has been receiving praise from all corners for his blockbuster performances in the ongoing tournament. He has become the main attraction in the match as he has also been using a ‘camel’ bat in the tournament.

Though in the ongoing match Rashid Khan missed out with the bat as he was sent back for a duck, but he made sure to leave a mark with his impeccable bowling. Rashid finished the match with figures of 4/22 from his 4 overs.


Talking about the match, Sixers won the toss and opted to bowl first. The Adelaide Strikers batted first and were bundled up for a below-par total of 135. Besides, Rashid Khan, English paceman Tom Curran too picked up 4/22 in 3.4 overs.
