IPL Took A Subtle Dig At MS Dhoni In A Promotional Tweet And CSK Gave A Quick Reply

The upcoming season of the Indian Premier League is just around the corner and the excitement among the fans for it is already at its peak. With anticipation and excitement among the fans increasing every passing moment for IPL, daily we see fans engaging in hilarious banters and debates on social media regarding their favorite teams and players.

Recently, the complete schedule of the season was released, as per which the season opener will be played between the last season’s finalists — Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. This year’s tournament is going to be the longest tournament in the history of the tournament.

Now the campaign of the new season of Indian Premier League has been given a flying start as a new advertisement was released that features Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain, MS Dhoni, Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper (RCB) Virat Kohli, Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma and Delhi Capitals (DC) wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant.

In the promotional video, an old man can be seen trolling CSK’s skipper MS Dhoni by pointing towards his picture and saying “Tumhara Wala Khel Paaega?”

Sharing the video via Twitter, the official twitter handle of Twitter wrote:

The stage is set and the banter is On Ahead of the #VIVOIPL 2020, keep the banter coming and get set for March 29, jab #KhelBolega on @StarSportsIndia and Hotstar! The @Vivo_India IPL Carnival begins soon,”

Interestingly, Chennai Super Kings via their official twitter handle have now responded to the hilarious promotional video by sharing a picture of MS Dhoni aka Thala, where he can be seen watching the new promotional video. CSK just added a fire emoticon in the caption.
