Out Or Not Out? Mayank Agarwal’s Dismissal Has Led To A Full-Fledged Debate On Twitter

Out Or Not Out? Mayank Agarwal’s Dismissal Has Led To A Full-Fledged Debate On Twitter: After getting brutally smashed by the New Zealanders in the first innings, the Indian cricket team is trying their best to bounce back in the second innings of the ongoing First test match in Willington.

However, the team suffered a big blow as the Indian opener Prithvi Shaw had to make his way back to pavilion by a Tim Southee’s half-volley outswinger after he had scored only 14 runs. But another opener Mayank Agarwal held the game tight and didn’t let the pressure get to his head.

On Day 1 of the test, Mayank Agarwal was the only cricketer who managed to weather the storm and smash New Zealand’s’ bowling attack. Playing a knock of 34 runs, Mayank Agarwal showed some fearless batting skills as he went on to smash five fours during his stint.

In the second innings as well, the fans got to witness some fearless batting from Mayank Agarwal. Playing an ultra-defensive knock Mayank Agarwal reached his half-century before the tea break on day3 of the ongoing first test match.

Mayank Agarwal showed positive intent as he smashed seven boundaries and a six off Ajaz Patel’s thrilling delivery. However, soon the fun came to an end as Mayank had to make his way back to the pavilion after he was strangled down the leg-side by Tim Southee after scoring 58 runs off 99.

However, his dismissal has started a debate on micro-blogging site Twitter with fans on whether Mayank Agarwal was out or not out. While many feel that he was not out and the umpire made an unfair decision, on the other hand, there are many who thinks the umpire wasn’t wrong. His dismissal has led to a full-fledged debate on social media.
