Ravichandran Ashwin Gives A Cheeky Response To James Anderson’s Tweet On Mankad’s Law

If Mankad-ing is an arti, Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin has proved himself to be Piccasso of it. Who can forget the epic Mankad incident during the IPL 2019? R Ashwin mankading Jos Buttler during the last IPL’s season riled up various cricketers and fans worldwide.

From cricketers to cricket pundits, everyone had different opinions on this matter. Recently, the debate was started again after Mankad law made its presence felt in the ongoing U-19 WC match between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

During the match, Afghanistan spinner Noor Ahmad ran out Pakistan opener Mohammad Huraila at the non-strikers end to dismiss the batsman.

Ravichandran Ashwin has never shied away from expressing his emotions, be it on-field or off-field. R Ashwin knows the art of giving it back to the opposition.

Recently, he was at it again after England Pacer James Anderson expressed his opinion about Mankading. Responding to a video of the Mankading incident that happened during the U-19 world cup, James Anderson wrote that the law should be removed. He wrote:

Can we sort out (remove) this law please @ICC #MCC??”

Soon the tweet was flooded with reactions from the cricket fans, among whom most of the followers agreed with him. Ravichandran Ashwin came up with a cheeky response to James Anderson’s Tweet. While replying to James, Ashwin wrote how the removal of Mankad law might need some deliberation. He wrote:

Law removal might need some deliberation!! A Shredder might do the trick for now😂😂🤩”
