Twitterati Trolled Michael Vaughan For His Tweet On The Outcome Of The Semi-Final Between India And England

Michael Vaughan Gets Trolled For His Tweet After The Semi-Final: Indian Women Cricket Team advanced to the final of ICC T20 World Cup 2020 after rain played spoilsport at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Even before the start of the match, all the buildup was around the weather conditions as forecasters had predicted heavy rain in Sydney on the day of the semi-final between India and England.

As a result, the Indian Women Cricket Team will now play the final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 as they topped Group A after defeating all their opponents– Australia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and New Zealand–in the group stage. This came as a big delight for the Indian cricket fans as it is the first time that India’s women cricket team will play the final of the ICC T20 World Cup.

In the second semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2020, the home team Australia managed to defeat South Africa in a thrilling match and the Kangaroos will now play India in the decider on International Women’s Day in front of 91,000 spectators at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

But, on the other hand, England cricket fans are gutted after the result and they are now questioning the ICC for not having a reserve day. Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan took to Twitter to express his disappointement over the result.

“No reserve days for World Cup semi Finals … What a shambles,” Michael Vaughan tweeted.

However, this tweet backfired as fans started reminding him about the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 that was won by England due to some weird rules of the ICC, and no English cricketer had posted a “shambles” tweet then. Twitterati flooded Michael Vaughan’s tweet with replies and trolled him left, right and center.
