Mohammad Kaif’s Son Called Shoaib Akhtar ‘Easy’ And The Rawalpindi Express Replied

The people around the whole world are currently maintaining social distancing and are asked to remain indoors. While most parts of the world are currently under the lockdown, the entertainment arena has come to a halt with many tournaments and events being suspended, canceled or postponed including IPL and PSL.

Meanwhile, many sports channels are re-telecasting many epic cricket matches. After re-telecasting the iconic world cup matches, Star Sports India re-telecasted historic India vs Pakistan match of 2003.

For the unversed, during that match, the Indian cricket team went on to beat the Pakistani cricket team by 6-wickets. Mohammad Kaif played a crucial role in India’s memorable victory. During the match, team India lost players like  Virender Sehwag (21) and Sourav Ganguly (0) early, however, Mohammad Kaif made sure to save the day for the Indian cricket team as he went on to score a vital 102-run stand for the 3rd wicket with Sachin Tendulkar. He scored 35 off 60 balls.

Former Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar is regarded as one of the legends of this game. He was known for giving nightmares to batsmen with his extreme pace. The right-arm bowler had the ability to deliver the balls at 150kmph and this is the reason he is still regarded as one of the most dangerous bowlers. However, during this IndvsPak match, Shoaib Akhtar was smashed by Mohammad Kaif all around the ground.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Kaif took to his twitter and shared a video of him watching the 2003’s IndvsPak match with his son Kabir. Sharing the video, Mohammad Kaif revealed that his son feels that it must be easy to play against Shoaib Akhtar. Kaif wrote:

“Thanks to @StarSportsIndia, finally Kabir gets to relive that historic #INDvPAK game. But junior isn’t too impressed with Papa, says hitting @shoaib100mph must be easy since there is pace in his bowling. Kids today I tell you…phew! Smiling face with open mouth and cold sweat”
