Suresh Raina Said That MS Dhoni ‘Gets Angry’ And The Captain Cool Gave A Fitting Reply

MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina share a very good bond on and off the field. Dhoni and Raina have played a lot of cricket together for India and also for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. Many cricket fans say that it was MS Dhoni’s support that helped Suresh Raina establish himself at the international level.

MS Dhoni is known as one of the coolest cricketers in the history of the game and he is regarded as someone who very rarely loses his cool and shows anger. However, in 2017, Suresh Raina had said in an interview that MS Dhoni has no emotion in his eyes but he does get angry.

“There is no emotion in his eyes. Despite not wearing sunglasses, you cannot figure it out. We will be like ‘come on, man. show us some reaction” Suresh Raina had said.

“But he does get angry, you don’t see it. The cameras don’t pick it up. But as soon as the telecast cuts to the ads, he will say ‘Tu sudhar jaa (get your act together),” Raina added.

“He (MS Dhoni) is a very good leader. He knows what’s going to happen next. He keeps Plan A, Plan B, Plan C, ready for every situation. He carries all of them during the play. He strategizes the things a night before and executes according to the situation,” Raina said.

However, captain cool MS Dhoni gave a fitting reply to Suresh Raina on his comment that Dhoni often gets angry on the cricket field,

“We also enjoy inside the dressing room, we talk, the pitch-level is sometimes high and sometimes low. The meaning of cool that we associate is calm and if not cool then an angry one,” MS Dhoni had replied.

“There are many zones in the middle of it where you enjoy and make fun. Once (I am playing) in the ground, I do not joke around, but inside the dressing room, I enjoy a lot. So, I conduct myself according to how I think I should conduct myself in different areas.”
