Mahendra Singh Dhoni, besides being one of the most successful skippers of the Indian cricket team is also regarded as a legendary wicket keeper-batsman around the world. Over the years, MS Dhoni has done some spectacular things behind the stumps and stunned opposition batters with his out of the box skills. Many cricket pundits around the world believe that Dhoni is the best wicket-keeper of all time and he has revolutionized wicket-keeping with his unorthodox technique.He reads the game brilliantly and makes his moves at the right time.

While every time he dismantles the stumps, he makes his fans jump in joy, however, there have been a few instances when MS Dhoni left everyone in shock with his lightening fast stumpings.

11. Jonathon Trott:

England’s most consistent batsman, Jonathan Trott could have won his team the ICC Champions Trophy if MS Dhoni wouldn’t have spoiled his plan. MS Dhoni asked R Ashwin to bowl a delivery down the leg-side so that Dhoni can stump him out of the crease and it worked.
10. Ian Bell:
Ian Bell – another cricketer from England, who became the victim of MS Dhoni’s lightening fast stumping. This happened during the final of Champions Trophy, when Ravindra Jadeja bowled an arm ball to him and Dhoni picked it perfectly before sending him back to the pavilion by dismantling the stumps.

9. Sabbir Rahman:

Sabbir Rahman, the Bangladesh batsman also became the victim of MS Dhoni’s stumping skills. This happened during the ICC T20 World Cup in 2016, where Bangladesh cricket team needed only a few runs to win the game, but MS Dhoni shattered all their dreams with the help of Suresh Raina as they sent Rahman back to the pavilion.

8. Tamim Iqbal:

MS Dhoni was at his best while dismissing Tamim Iqbal. Just a few moments after Jasprit Bumrah had dropped his catch, MS Dhoni stumped him out of the crease.

7. Keemo Paul:

MS Dhoni surpassed himself with this stumping and helped himself earn the record for the fastest stumping done in the cricket history. MS Dhoni took only 0.08 seconds to take the bails off and send Keemo Paul back to the pavilion.

6.Tim Seifert:

This happened during New Zealand’s T20I series against India. This time MS Dhoni took just 0.099 to effect the dismissal by dismantling the bails.

5. George Bailey:

This happened during the 3rd ODI of a bilateral series played between India and Australia, when MS dhoni pulled of a famous breakneck stumping to dismiss Australian batsman George Bailey.

4. Rajin Saleh:

This one is quite special as it happened on Sachin Tendulkar’s delivery and it was MS Dhoni’s first wicket in the ODIs. Rajin Saleh, who was at the score of 82 was sent back by MS Dhoni’s brilliance behind the stumps.

Later, Rajin Saleh had stated:  “MS Dhoni has achieved all the success in his life and I feel lucky to be his first victim in the ODIs”

3. Glenn Maxwell:

It happened during the T20I series between India and Australia, when Glenn Maxwell became the victim of MS Dhoni’s stumping. Dhoni brought Yuvraj Singh in the attack and then the crowd witnessed a lightning-quick stumping to dismiss Maxwell.

2. Jacob Oram:

This happened in 2009, when India and New Zealand collided in a bilateral ODI series. Jacob Oram became the victim of MS Dhoni’s brilliance as when he tried to smash one of Yuvraj Singh’s deliveries in the air, Dhoni was quick to catch the ball and dislodge his bails.

Another Australian cricketer, who was sent back to pavilion by Dhoni. This time Rahul Sharma was the bowler and one of his deliveries went past Mitchell Marsh. MS Dhoni was quick to dismantle the stumps.
