5 Indian Test Greats Who Never Scored An ODI Century

The Indian cricket team is currently one of the leading cricket teams in the world. Indian cricketers have performed well in all the formats in recent years. Cricketers like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and many more, have dominated the IC World Test Championship and has done well in the ODI formats as well.

However, there have been players who have done amazingly well in Test format but are yet to score their ODI century.

Here, we bring you 5 cricketers, who have smashed many centuries in Test but haven’t scored any centuries in ODI format. Have a look:

5. Ravichandran Ashwin:

India’s Test specialist, Ravichandran Ashwin has been leading the off-spin bowler of the Indian cricket team for quite some time. Besides his amazing bowling skills, R Ashwin showed his batting skills and has scored 4 centuries in 71 Test matches. However, he has not been able to score a century even once during his ODI career of 111 matches.

4. Mayank Agarwal:

Mayank Agarwal, who recently made his debut in the longest format of the game for India, has already scored 100+ scores for the country in Test cricket. Besides this, Mayank Agarwal has also played a few ODIs but has not scored a century yet.

3. Cheteshwar Pujara:

Cheteshwar Pujara, who is regarded as the 2.0 version of ‘The Wall – Rahul Dravid’, has cemented his position in the Indian Test team. So far, he has made 18 Test centuries to his name but sadly he has not been able to register the same success in ODIs. Cheteshwar Pujara, who has been playing Test cricket for almost a decade now, has never been able to cement his place in ODIs.

2. Murali Vijay:

Murali Vijay, who came into limelight after his brilliant performances for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. After which he cemented his place as an opener in the longest format of the game and performed well for almost a decade. During this period, he also scored his 12 Test centuries, but he has not able to score any ODI century so far.

The current wicket-keeper batsman of the Indian Test cricket team, Wriddhiman Saha has earned a name for himself with his strong performances. So far, he has scored three centuries in Tests, but he has not been able to pull off a century in other formats of the game.
