During the fifth day of the third and final Test match between England and Pakistan, James Anderson, England’s first fast bowler became the first fast bowler to take 600 Test wickets when he dismissed Pakistan’s skipper Azhar Ali.

In Pakistan’s first innings, James Anderson took a five-wicket haul in Pakistan’s first innings. Later, in the second innings, Anderson returned to pick Abid Ali and Azhar.
