With the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League just a couple of days away, cricket experts and cricketers are coming up with their best IPL 2020 playing XI. The latest one to join the bandwagon was the former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg.
Well, recently, former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg picked his best IPL 2020 playing XI. While Brad Hogg picked most of the star players in his playing XI, he ignored three-time IPL winning captain MS Dhoni on his list.
Brad Hogg started by picking David Warne and Rohit Sharma as their openers in IPL 2020 playing XI. The duo has proved themselves as the best openers for their respective teams, over the years. Brad Hogg picked the skipper of RCB, Virat Kohli at number 3 position, which is also his regular position.
At no. 4 Hogg picked Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Kane Williamson, who was also given the captaincy charge. Williamson led the team Sunrisers Hyderabad as the skipper in the last season of IPL, however, he failed to get the franchise to title win.
Rishabh Pant was picked as the keeper-batsman in Hogg’s playing XI, who was followed by KKR’s batting and bowling mainstay Andre Russell, who was picked at no. 6. Apart from Andre Russell, another all-rounder in Hogg’s list was the CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.
For the bowling attack, Hogg picked Sunil Narine and Yuzvendra Chahal as the spinners in his team. While, on the other hand, he picked Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar in his fast bowling department.
