Harsha Bhogle Trolled Virat Kohli For Dropping KL Rahul’s Catches

Besides being one of the best batsmen around the world, Virat Kohli is known for his athletic skills on-field. His hands are considered as one of the safest when it comes to taking some jaw-dropping and impossible catches. Therefore, Virat failing to take a catch or dropping it by mistake is a very rare sight. However, it’s 2020 and we can expect the unexpected.

In the second match of Royal Challengers Bangalore, which was against Kings XI Punjab, Virat missed not just one but two catches that in a way costed them the whole match.

The match between KXIP and RCB was turned into a one-match show after KL Rahul put on a blockbuster show for his fans as he made a stunning comeback into the league. Rahul scored an unbeaten 132 runs off 69 balls, where he smashed the talented RCB bowlers to all the corners of the ground. During his stunning knock, he hit 14 fours and 7 sixes. His unbeaten 132 off 69 is now the highest score by an Indian the IPL.

However, KL Rahul was also given a couple of reprives by none other than the skipper of RCB Virat Kohli, who dropped a sitter when he was batting on 83 runs. Not just this, Virat missed another catch when KL Rahul was on 89 in one over later.

While lady luck continued to smile on KL Rahul, the match turned upside-down for Royal Challengers Bangalore as KL Rahul went on to register the highest scoring runs by an Indian in IPL. In the process, he even broke a few records.

Meanwhile, on social media, fans just couldn’t stop themselves from trolling Virat Kohli. From memes to jokes, social media was flooded with hilarious reactions from twitterati on this.  Among many, popular commentator Harsha Bhogle also took to his twitter and took a hilarious dig at Virat Kohli.

In his tweet, Harsha wrote how Virat was being kind to KL Rahul. He wrote: “Kohli is being kind to Rahul…..”
