Rohan Gavaskar Trolled Anushka Sharma With A Cryptic Tweet: Batting legend has landed in an ugly controversy after his remarks during commentary in the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab, were blown out of proportions by the netizens.
The comments from Sunil Gavaskar came when Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore were struggling at 4/2 during the 217-run chase. Talking about Kohli’s performance, Sunil had said: “ab jo lockdown tha toh unhone sirf Anushka ke saath bowling ki practice ki hai, usse toh kuch bhi nahi banna” (In the lockdown he only practiced with Anushka, that won’t help him)
His remarks sparked controversy and soon Gavaskar was brutally trolled and slammed on social media over his remarks. Anushka Sharma, too, reacted strongly to Gavaskar’s remarks by posting a long post on her Instagram story slamming the batting legend.

Meanwhile, Sunil Gavaskar’s son Rohan Gavaskar has seemingly reacted to the controversy. He took to his twitter and posted a cryptic tweet trolling the actress and others for misinterpreting the words of Sunil Gavaskar.
Though, he didn’t post a direct message, but by his tweet, he seemingly implied that his father was wrongly quoted and his statements were blown out of proportion. He wrote:
“I love cholocate. Read it again. This is how you fail your exams.”

As soon as the tweet caught eyes, it was flooded with reactions from twitterati on this. While many came out in support of Rohan Gavaskar and Sunil Gavaskar and praised Rohan for taking a stand on the matter, on the other hand, there were many who trolled him, showing their support to the actress.

Failure in exams better than your cricket career which got nipped in the bud. Nepotism got exposed.

Understandable.. it was disgusting for anybody to attribute that intention to your dad, worse for Anushka to have made such a demeaning remark publicly on that fake news.

Shouldn't have taken Anushka's name in the first place.
We haven't misunderstood his words but what Virat Kohli does in his private life playing cricket with his wife in his apartment is none of Mr. Gavaskar's business.
That was a mistake and there is no ambiguity in it.

You sometimes also fail the exam by not taking responsibility for your mistake and not apologizing.
