Royal Challengers Bangalore – IPL Schedule 2020

RCB IPl Schedule for 2020

Royal Challengers Bangalore has been the unluckiest franchise in the history of IPL. The Bangalore-based franchise has had the best players in their team. Still, they have not managed to win their first IPL trophy to date. It is not that Bangalore has proved to be a complete mismatch in the competition. They have made it to the finale thrice but lost every time.

The Bold Army has assembled a very strong squad for IPL 2020. They retained their star players like Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Parthiv Patel, Moeen Ali, Umesh Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, and others, while in the IPL Auction 2020, they gained the services of T20 stars like Aaron Finch, Dale Steyn, Isuru Udana, Chris Morris, and Josh Philippe.

Royal Challengers Bangalore had also splurged INR 4 Crores for the Australian fast bowler Kane Richardson. However, the right-arm quick opted out of the season owing to his first child’s birth. Bangalore signed his compatriot and former Rising Pune Super Giant leg-spinner Adam Zampa as his replacement.

Speaking of Bangalore’s IPL 2020 schedule, the Virat Kohli-led franchise will open its campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 21st September. They will play a majority of the matches in Dubai. The last time IPL was held in the UAE, Royal Challengers Bangalore had an average performance in the Gulf nation.

Kohli, de Villiers, and Finch will have the onus of scoring the runs with the bat for Bangalore. On the other side, Chahal, Saini, Sundar, and Steyn will hold the key to their success in the bowling section. Besides, the trio of Morris, Dube, and Pawan Negi will play the role of all-rounders. Even Gurkeerat Singh can be backed to bring his ‘A’ game to the table in IPL 2020. Zampa could be the ‘X-factor’ player for RCB, but the team’s first choice spinner would be Chahal.

Here’s a look at their complete IPL 2020 schedule.
