Sachin Tendulkar Reveals The Biggest Strength Of Washington Sunder

Royal Challengers Bangalore went face to face against Mumbai Indians in the 10th game of the season. Both sides had won and lost one game each and aimed for their second victory in the match. Mumbai Indians won the toss and chose to bowl first. Royal Challengers Bangalore started off well after the disappointment of their last game against Kings XI Punjab. Both openers Aaron Finch and Devdutt Paddikal scored impressive half-centuries. Ab De Villiers and Shivam Dube played sensational knocks in the closing stages of the game to make the final score 201/3 in their quote.

Mumbai Indians also gave a stern reply with bat and cleared the boundaries for fun. Ishan Kishan scored a terrific 99 runs and Pollard played a screamer as Mumbai Indians matched Bangalore’s total. The team ended at 201/5 in 50 overs to take the game to a super over where Royal Challengers Bangalore ended victoriously. The game proved a graveyard for bowlers as all of them proved very costly. However, apart from Navdeep Saini who impressed in the super overs, Bangalore also discovered a jewel in their bowling department in the form of Washington Sunder.

The right-arm off-spinner shared the new ball with Isuru Udana and completed his quota of four overs before the halfway mark. Sunder impressed with his line and length and was inarguably the pick of the bowlers for Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Tamil Nadu bowling all-rounder conceded just 12 runs in four overs which was nothing short of miraculous considering the nature of the game.

He impressed several former cricket stars as well with the Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar applauding the youngster for his outstanding performance. He also revealed the reason which makes Washington Sundar such a special bowler. Sachin Tendulkar tweeted a fantastic spell by Washington Sunder. His ability to keep watching the batsman’s feet till the last moment and adjust his line and length is a special ability.

The Indian international would like to continue his form throughout the tournament and bid for a place in the Indian side for the upcoming World Cup.
