IPL 2020: 10 Best Memes On ‘RR vs KKR’ Match

As KKR went toe to toe with the table toppers, Rajasthan Royals in their third game of the ongoing IPL campaign, it was a resonating performance in every single department that saw the two-time champions emerge as victors by an emphatic margin.

After a shiny start from Shubman Gill and Sunil Narine, Nitish Rana posted a breezy shift against the Rajasthan bowlers. However, things started looking shaky for KKR once the brass of their batting was removed.

Things boiled down to Andre Russell and Eoin Morgan to post a big total where the West Indian muscle man started pulling out the explosives from his bag. However, after smashing a couple of biggies, he fell to the trap of a confident Ankit Rajpoot who compelled him to go for that lofty drive, holing out to Jaydev Undakat in the deep.

With Pat Cummins at the other end Eoin Morgan embarked upon the journey on making some repairs to the innings before bringing out the heavy artillery from his pouch.

He stayed unbeaten until the very end alongside Kamlesh Nagarkoti to post a decent total of 174 for 6. However, the score seemed to be timid, considering the reckoning force that the Royals batting order substantiated themselves to be.

Despite taking out Narine to the cleaners in the opening overs, Royals came a cropper shortly as Pat Cummins hurt them in his opening over, removing his national teammate, Steven Smith.

Cummins was followed by some terrific bowling from two youngsters, Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti that was backed by some brilliant fielding.

Chakravarthy removed the dangerous Rahul Tewatia with a brilliant googly and followed it up with some crackling deliveries.

As the balls started rolling out, Royals struggled badly and were further exposed to some relentless bowling by the Knights. They did manage to end on a respectable score, thanks to a late half-century from Tom Curran.

Twitter was excited to relish the fall of the kings in a merciless fashion as Kolkata moved to the 2nd position of the table.
