Aakash Chopra Slammed The Fans Who Trolled Yashasvi Jaiswal: On Friday, Rajasthan Royals suffered their fourth successive defeat in the ongoing 13th edition of the Indian Premier League. Shreyas Iyer led Delhi Capitals dominated the game from the word go and didn’t give any opportunity to the RR batsmen to set their feet on-field.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, the young and talented opener of Rajasthan Royals, however, came under the scanner of trolls on social media as he had a tough time with the bat in his maiden appearance in the tournament. He showed some resistance against DC bowlers during the initial stage, however, he failed to accelerate the innings, which drew criticism from fans on the social media.

Social media was soon flooded with people trolling and criticizing his snail-paced knock of Yashasvi Jaiswal.

As the people trolled the young Jaiswal left, right and center, former Indian cricketer and commentator, Aakash Chopra took to is twitter and decided to school the trolls.  In his tweet, Aakash Chopra defended the youngster and expressed his support for Jaiswal. He wrote:

Before mocking a 19yo cricketer, please ask yourself—what were you doing when you were 19? The kid you’re making fun of has already represented India at U-19 level, was Man of the Tournament at the World Cup & has scored a double-century in List-A cricket for Mumbai #YashasviBhav,”

Meanwhile, talking about the young talent Yashasvi Jaiswal, he has been ruling the domestic circuit for a while now. He is only 19 years old but has already achieved a lot in his life. From being homeless, selling pani-puris to setting a new world record, and representing team India, the journey of Yashasvi Jaiswal is very inspiring.

Yashasvi Jaiswal also had a stellar outing in the Under-19 World Cup earlier this year, where he slammed five 50+ scores in six matches throughout the tournament. He ended the World Cup tournament as the highest run-scorer.
