ABDV

Wow! ABDV – this man never disappoints his fans. He played an incredible knock to pull his team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) out of trouble and defeat Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets. AB de Villiers turned the tables for his team and snatched the game out of Rajasthan Royal’s hands, who after doing everything right were left helpless in the end.

As the game kickstarted, the Rajasthan Royals won the toss and chose to bat first. The skipper of RR, Steve Smith surprised everyone by changing their opening combination. Robin Uthappa and Ben Stokes walked out to open the innings for their team and the move worked amazingly well for them.

Robin Uthappa was successful in bringing the momentum for his team as he scored 41 off just 22 deliveries before he was dismissed by Yuzvendra Chahal. However, the struggle didn’t end there as Yuzvendra Chahal dismissed Sanju Samson in the very next delivery.

Though there were no collapse in the middle overs but the RCB bowlers soon bounced back and tried their best to stop the flow of runs. Steve Smith made sure he got the team to a decent total of 177 runs.

Later, while chasing the total, RCB started the innings with a worst note as they lost Aaron Finch early thanks to Shreyas Gopal. Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal once again pulled a stunning partnership. The duo though added 89 runs in around 10 overs but both of them got out at the wrong time.

However, AB de Villiers came to the rescue and saved the day for his team.  de Villiers was in the beast mode and played an amazing knock of 55 runs off only 22 balls. He smashed 6 sixes and a four and ended the game with a six.

Meanwhile, social media was flooded with amazing reactions from twitterati. From cricketers, cricket experts to fans, people just can’t stop praising the ‘superman’ knock of AB de Villiers.
