Gautam Gambhir Gave A Fitting Reply To A Twitter User Who Called Him ‘Anti-Pakistani’

The cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir is fondly remembered for his heroics in the 2007 and 2011 World Cup finals that India won under the leadership of MS Dhoni. He is one of the most active cricketers on social media. He never shies away from calling a spade a spade. He is often seen calling out the PM of Pakistan Imran Khan and former Pakistani cricketers over their opinions.

Recently, Gambhir completed one year in politics, and in order to celebrate the same, he took to his twitter and announced that he will be conducting an ask me anything session. For the unversed, the two-time World Cup star Gautam Gambhir had joined the Bharatiya Janata Party after quitting the gentlemen’s game. It was last year when he joined BJP in the presence of then Union ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad and late Arun Jaitley.

During the interactive Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Twitter, Gautam Gambhir was accused of being an ‘anti-Pakistan’ by a Twitter user. He was asked by a Twitter user of being anti-Pakistan. The twitter user had asked:

Why are you soo anti-Pakistan?? @GautamGambhir #AskGG,”

Gautam Gambhir was quick to notice the tweet and come up with a reply to the twitter user. In his reply, Gautam wrote that he is not an anti-Pakistan just like any other Indian. He wrote:

 “I’m not! I don’t think any Indian is. But when we have to choose between the lives of our soldiers & anything else, we r all on the same side!,”
