There’s no denying the fact that MS Dhoni has been struggling badly in the middle. Recently, during a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Dhoni once again failed to take his team to the winning side. Having begun the tournament walking to bat at No. 7 Dhoni was back to his usual Number 5 position for this game. However, his side still ended up on the losing side. His unbeaten 47 off 36 went in vain as the team fell short of 7 runs.
While he had ample time to get there, he was struggling to hit the ball and was constantly feeling dehydrated due to the heat. Age is being called as one of the factors behind MS Dhoni’s form.
On Saturday, Irfan Pathan took to his twitter and posted an indirect dig at MS Dhoni for his poor performance against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2020. Irfan expressed whatever he felt after Dhoni’s performance against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
In his tweet. Irfan at how Dhoni has been given special treatment took a dig at how others were dropped because of the age factor but the case is not the same when it comes to Dhoni. He wrote:
“Age is just a number for some and for others a reason to be dropped..”

The tweet soon went viral and was flooded with reactions from twitterati. While many agreed with him and criticized Dhoni, on the other hand, there were many who slammed Irfan Pathan over his controversial tweet.
Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh took to his twitter and joined Irfan Pathan. In his tweet, Harbhajan Singh wrote that he agrees with Irfan Pathan. He wrote:
“10000000 percent agree with you. @IrfanPathan”

Well, for the unversed, Irfan Pathan’s tweet has come in regard to the exclusion of players like Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, etc. were dropped from Team India after they reached a certain age and were not able to give the best of their capabilities.
