Harsha Bhogle Expressed His Disappointment With The Captaincy Of Virat Kohli On Twitter: After stumbling to an eight-wicket defeat against Kings XI Punjab last night, the skipper of Royal Challengers Bangalore has found himself at the receiving end of criticism. His decision of sending star batsman AB de Villiers lower down the order didn’t go down in favor of the team.
On Thursday, coming out to bat first, RCB had set a competitive target of 172 runs on the back of Chris Morris’ brilliant performance with the bat.
AB de Villiers, who has been the hero of RCB and their batting mainstay, came out to bat at number 6. And the decision turned out to be a disaster for the team as he failed to leave a mark with his bat as he scored just two runs off five balls.
Meanwhile, Harsha Bhogle, the popular commentator and analyst, was quick to take to his twitter and expressed his disappointment over the decision of Virat Kohli. He wrote:
“If it was the match-up of AB vs leg spin that caused him to come down at no 6, then Murugan Ashwin and Ravi Bishnoi must strut around for the rest of their cricket career, tell their relatives we were the reason the great AB didn’t come out to bat!”

This shows disrespect to such a great player, Virat Kohli is trying to be oversmart. Without AB, RCB is nothing, how can he forget ABD last inning. Thats why RC is still deprived for its maiden IPL title.

Okay so worlds best batsman fears uncapped Indian players. What a joke, it was bad decision of Kohli or RCB to send him at no.6 . The player who himself was playing t20 like test changes the batting order of their best batsman. It was a suicidal move and AB fears leggie is excuse

Bizarre decision! (to not send ABD earlier)

If that was the case,Kohli should have attacked Maxwell..
Blunder committed by RCB..useless tinkering when they were having best start to season
Slow runrate in middleovers..no strike rotation like abd and kohli do.

Don't be surprised, the greatest captain of all time virat kohli is known for this kind of decisions. We have already witnessed this before and this might be not the last one for sure. #RCBvsKXIP pic.twitter.com/gRwuG0klNH
