IPL 2020: 10 Hilarious Memes On The ‘DC vs KKR’ Match

Dc vs KKR

DC vs KKR: Sharjah once again infamous for its diminutive stature leaked 400 plus runs in a T-20 game as KKR and Delhi Capitals duked it out until the very end before Anrich Nortje struck the telling blow by removing the man who could have been a remarkable author of a fairy tale, Eoin Morgan.

Delhi Capitals were off to a flyer, thanks to some incredible power-hitting by Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan. Once Dhawan was removed, their captain Shreyas Iyer took over the mantle and peppered the Kolkata bowlers with some astronomical strikes all over the park. It was an absolute delight to witness the Indian youngster carving some classic cricketing strokes against biggies of the game.

Rishabh Pant and Iyer smoked the KKR bowlers much beyond their expectations that saw Delhi posting a monumental total of 228. Andre Russell was the pick of the slew with figures of 4-0-29-2.

KKR was off to a sloppy for the fourth time in the tournament as they lost Narine for naught. Rana and Gill started with the initial repairs and did put up an incredible battle against the best of the lot. The duo stitched a 64-runs-stand amongst themselves before Gill got out. Rana continued with his brand of aggression while the team stuttered at the other end.

Eoin Morgan

Russell was starting to look good when Rabada claimed the big man followed by Harshal Patel scalping the prized wicket of Nitish Rana. Dinesh Kartik once again failed to something noteworthy as he got out for 6 from 8 overs. It all boiled down to Eoin Morgan and Rahul Tripathi to inch KKR closer to the finishing line.

Where a victory seemed absolutely out of the horizon, Morgan and Tripathi almost chased down the total with some brilliant strokes hurled all around the park. The most fascinating part of this chase was Rabada getting hammered mercilessly by the last two. Unfortunately, Nortje removed Morgan while Stoinis removed Tripathi and the chase was buried six feet under.

The KKR fans were absolutely livid at the management for still not able to arrange their batting line-up. Despite Narine repeatedly failing, he came out on top and Kartik never even thought of keeping himself reserved until the end and use Morgan upfront. Russell was sent in a wrong position and the rest was reflected in the result.

Twitter expressed humor and grief combined in what one would call an absolute disaster for the KKR management.
