Indian Premier League 2020 saw one of its best deliveries being bowled tonight as Rajasthan Royals was schooled by a soaring bowling performance from Delhi Capitals.

Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje joined forces to hurl the best of deliveries at the Royals batting line up. With the clock ticking for Royals, Uthappa and Rahul Tewatia clawed their way until the end to salvage the fourth victory of the season, however they were no match for the brutal pace attack of Delhi.

Nortje castled Robin Uthappa with an absolute screamer that grabbed the limelight for all the right reasons.

With 29 required off the last two overs, Uthappa and Tewatia wanted to charge at the Delhi bowlers. After trading for two runs in the first two balls of the 19th over, Uthappa wanted to go for glory.

Nortje charged in with a menacing glare and released the ball at 150 kmph which left Uthappa dazed and confused. He did lift his bat but it wasn’t enough to save him from the blushes.

A yorker flying down at 150 kays was hurled at the toe of Uthappa. A toe-crusher to be honest, the ball swiveled onto the middle-stump.

Trying to take it out for glory, he left the line of the ball and in an attempt to connect, he missed the line completely. The cherry went on to rattle the stumps, producing one of the best wickets of the ongoing edition of IPL.

Rajasthan failed to cross that finishing line as Nortje was backed up by another fiery over from Rabada that saw Delhi registering another victory by 13 runs.

Delhi has now moved to the top of the table with 12 points but will have a major concern with Iyer walking out of the field with an injury.
