Smriti Mandhana Picks Her Favorite Player Of IPL 2020: The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League is going on in full swing and we have already seen each team play three games in the ongoing season. The contests so far have been more like an eye treat for the fans, who are calling the league as the greatest gift of 2020 because of the exciting matches.

This time the IPL is filled with a lot of twists and turns, while we have seen many experienced cricketers struggling on-field, on the other hand, the youngsters including the likes of Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, Prithvi Shaw, Devdutt Padikkal, and many more are taking the game by storm.

Recently, Indian women’s team cricketer Smriti Mandhana picked one of her favorite cricketers from the ongoing edition of the league. As per her, that cricketer has made her a supporter of the franchise this season.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals remains one of the top performers in IPL 2020 this season. Riding on the performances of Steve Smith, Jofra Archer, Sanju Samson, and many others, the team is presently positioned at the third spot in the IPL points table after winning two out of the three games they have played so far.

Among many, it is the performance of Sanju Samson, which is keeping everyone hooked to the games of Rajasthan Royals. Known for his incredible batting style, Sanju Samson has managed to do the most damage with the bat in this season as well. Praising  the performances of Sanju Samson, Smriti said:

The way young guys are batting is very inspirational to see. I think Sanju Samson, the way he is batting I have just become a huge fan of him. I have started supporting RR because of him. The way he is batting is crazy, next-level batting. I am thinking to learn from everyone who is batting and bowling well,”

Smriti also talked about other cricketers she loves to watch play. She picked the names of Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, AB de Villiers, and Rohit Sharma among the top batters she enjoys watching play. She said:

“I am watching all the matches. I am quite biased with all the players and I have not got one team to support. I am not being diplomatic; I actually don’t have one team to support. I am supporting Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni,”
