Though his numbers aren’t substantial as one would expect it to be, his crucial knock under pressure left Chennai stunned. The most important part of the innings was the way he uniformly disseminated his strokes all over the park.

He has shown glimpses of brilliance but has struggled miserably against the short balls. However, considering his nerves of steel, he will be an important member of this squad.

6. Shivam Dube

Though he has already played for India, he is still to mature in terms of honing himself into a proper all-rounder.

He does have the signs of a star in the making but the lack of experience has bogged him down considerably.

Also, the position in which he bats makes it a wee bit difficult for him to play his natural game. Despite all the odds stacked up against him, he has still managed to shine for Bangalore.
