Rohit Sharma, the skipper of Mumbai Indians once again put his brilliant batting skills on show in the ongoing match between Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians.
Before the match kickstarted, KXIP won the toss and decided to bowl first. While Mumbai Indians lost their opener, Quinton de Kock, on 0 runs but Rohit Sharma brought the much-needed momentum to the game as he smashed the bowlers of Kings XI Punjab to all the corners of the ground.

During his knock, Rohit Sharma formed a 50 runs partnership with Ishan Kishan, before he departed for 28 runs. Rohit later formed a formidable partnership with Kieron Pollard and achieved his half-century with a stunning four.
Though it wasn’t a dominating innings for Rohit but it has been an important one as he achieved a special feat. Rohit Sharma achieved a milestone and surpassed 5000 runs in his IPL career. However, his knock soon came to an end after he was dismissed in an epic way off a Mohammad Shami delivery.

It was a tremendous work out there on the boundary by Kings XI Punjab’s Glenn Maxwell and Jimmy Neesham to claim the wicket of Mumbai Indians’ skipper Rohit Sharma, who departed after a well made 70 runs.
Jimmy Neesham dived to grab the ball, however, he lost his balance but just before he was about to cross the boundary he threw the ball towards Glenn Maxwell, who was successful in taking the catch, leaving everyone stunned with that effort.
