India’s star bowler Jasprit Bumrah is one of the best bowlers in the world right now. On Friday, Bumrah once again showed his class by dismissing Andre ‘Giant’ Russell with a brute of a bouncer in a clash between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Andre Russell walked out to bat at number 6 and he had just started to flex his muscles when Jasprit Bumrha stunned everyone by dismissing the giant hitter. It happened in the fourth ball of the 11 over when Jasprit Bumrah bowled a bouncer aimed at Andre Russell’s body, which made KKR all-rounder to create a room.
With nowhere else to go, Andre Russell hung his bat in the air and tried to hit a shot but the ball lobbed up in the air after hitting Andre Russell’s bat and landed straight in the hands of Quinton de Kock.
Andre Russell had backed away in the previous two balls of the over as well, but he was dismissed on this occasion. Here, watch the video:

This isn’t the first time Jasprit Bumrah sent back Andre Russell in the ongoing edition of the IPL. It was the same venue last time when Bumrah had cleaned up Andre Russell with a superb yorker.
Talking about the match last night, the sensational pacer Pat Cummins played a crucial knock of 36-ball 53 to lift KKR from a hopeless situation to a respectable target of 148. He walked into bat after the failure of the top-order.
On the other hand, chasing a total of 148 runs, MI’s opener Quinton de Kock played a match-winning knock of 78 runs off 44 balls. Hardik Pandya also played a crucial knock of 21 runs off 11 balls and took his team to the winning sides.
