Rajasthan Royals are currently locking their horns against Sunrisers Hyderabad in a must-win match for them. In a match like this, every wicket and every run is crucial and thus, a misfielding can be very disappointed. So when Vijay Shankar dropped the catch, the disappointment was clearly reflecting on Rashid’s face.

Before the match kickstarted the toss was won by David Warner, who chose to bowl first. Robin Uthappa and Ben Stokes started the innings slowly, however, before they could accelerate the innings, RR suffered a huge blow as Jason Holder gave the much-needed breakthrough to his team Sunrisers Hyderabad by dismissing Robin Uthappa.

After Robin Uthappa’s dismissal, the responsibility to bring pace into the innings fell on the shoulders of Ben Stokes, who tried hard. After seeing the pressure building upon his side, Ben Stokes wanted to smash Rashid Khan in order to release a bit of pressure.

However, on the last delivery of the 8th over, Ben Stokes danced down the track and smashed Rashid Khan in between deep mid-wicket and deep square leg. It was a perfect opportunity to get rid of Ben Stokes, however, a misfielding changed the fate of the game.

Vijay Shankar

Sunrisers’ Vijay Shankar, who is known for his good fielding skills, ran towards mid-wicket to get hold of the catch however, what happened next was comical. As he hit the position, he jumped to get a hold of the ball, which landed safely on his hands, only to be popped out in front of his eyes. However, he again made a forward drive in the second attempt but the momentum stopped him from doing so. The disappointment was clearly reflected on Rashid Khan’s face.
