The win last night against KKR was very special for Mandeep Singh, who played an unbeaten knock of 66 runs off 56 balls. Mandeep Singh, who lost his father just two days before the match, guided his team to the victory side.

After completing his half-century, an emotional Mandeep Singh pointed and looked towards the sky as he dedicated the half-century to his late father. Also after the match, he dedicated his performance to his father. He said:
“This was very special. My father always used to tell me you should remain not out in the game. This one is for him,” He added: “Even if I scored a double hundred or a hundred, he used to ask me, ‘Why did you go out?’
