Irfan Pathan Hailed Rohit Sharma’s Master-Move Against DC: It is a big day for Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals, who are currently locking their horns in the season final of the IPL 2020 at the Dubai International Stadium.

Before the game kickstarted, Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bat first by putting the scoreboard pressure on the defending champions Mumbai Indians.

However, the cards were already stacked against them as they suffered a huge blow by the hands of Mumbai Indians’ sensational bowlers — Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult, in the powerplay only.

While Bumrah bowled only the first over, Trent Boult’s first two overs were enough to take the game by storm. He reduced Delhi Capitals’ top-order to 16/2. The pressure now fell on the talented duo of Shreyas Iyer and Shikhar Dhawan, who has been in some impeccable form off-lately. The duo was trying to bring back the momentum of the game.

However, Rohit Sharma’s ‘Midas’ touch worked for Mumbai Indians as he brought Jayant Yadav to bowl. And the decision worked wonders for Mumbai Indians as Shikhar Dhawan was soon dismissed at 15 off 13 balls.

For the unversed, Shikhar Dhawan has been struggling with the off-spinners and this was the reason why Rohit brought the off-spinner, who didn’t disappoint his skipper. Rohit Sharma’s master-class and the endless match-up tactics had worked out once again for his team.

Meanwhile, social media is all praises for the way Mumbai Indians have kickstarted the game with a bang. Twitter is already flooded with hilarious memes, jokes, reactions on the top-order collapse of Delhi Capitals. While there are many who are applauding the brilliant captaincy of Rohit Sharma and the performance of MI bowlers.

Among many, former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan also took to his Twitter and applauded the amazing approach of MI skipper Rohit Sharma. Irfan wrote:

One would think there is so much happening with fast bowlers bowling with the new ball,4th over will go to another quick but this guys  @ImRo45 is a brilliant captain… #IPLfinal”
