Mumbai Indians’ Suryakumar Yadav has been in some impeccable form off-lately. He has played some crucial and match-winning knocks to help his team reach the final of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League.
With his hard-hitting shorts and powerful performances, Suryakumar Yadav has already impressed one and all. As the team is clashing with Delhi Capitals in the ongoing final match of IPL 2020, it was a perfect opportunity for him to make a statement and take the game to the winning side however, what he did was praise-worthy.
SKY has once again managed to steal the hearts of his fans by sacrificing his wicket for the in-form skipper Rohit Sharma.
Chasing a total of 157 runs, Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock, started the innings with their powerful shots. However, Quinton was soon dismissed by Stoinis and thus, the responsibility was now on Suryakumar Yadav’s shoulders, who has been in some amazing form.
The season final clash between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians is turning out to be a one-sided game. The Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians to dominate the game from the word go.
The ‘moment’ happened after the 9th over when Rohit smashed Pravin Dubey for two massive sixes. However, out of nowhere, Ashwin was reintroduced into the bowling attack and he didn’t disappoint his fans. Rohit smashed Ashwin and looked like he was going for a quick single but as the camera panned out, there was no single on offer. However, at that time the skipper had already made it three-fourth towards the other end, and SKY didn’t think twice and sacrificed his wicket for his skipper.

Meanwhile, social media was flooded with amazing reactions from Twitterati on this. From cricket experts to fans, everyone took to their social media to appreciate the sacrifice made by SKY to save the wicket of Rohit Sharma.

Excellent from @surya_14kumar. Realised it was the captain's mistake but showed no emotion as he sacrificed his wicket in an IPL final.
