It was the finale clash and a perfect opportunity for him to make a statement and take the game to the winning side however, what he did was praise-worthy.

The ‘moment’ happened after the 9th over when Rohit smashed Pravin Dubey for two massive sixes. However, out of nowhere, Ashwin was reintroduced into the bowling attack and he didn’t disappoint his fans. Rohit smashed Ashwin and looked like he was going for a quick single but as the camera panned out, there was no single on offer. However, at that time the skipper had already made it three-fourth towards the other end, and SKY didn’t think twice and sacrificed his wicket for his skipper.

After the match, Mumbai Indians took to their official Instagram account and hailed SKY as Selfless Surya.

Suryakumar was quick to notice the Instagram story and come up with a reply to it. Reacting to the Instagram story, Suryakumar Yadav came-up with a heart-winning reply to the story. In his reply, SKY wrote that he can sacrifice his wicket for Rohit any day. He wrote:

“Can sacrifice my wicket for him any day”
