India registered a memorable victory against Australia at Melbourne in the Boxing Day Test. The captain, Ajinkya Rahane, scored a magnificent century and helped his team take a big first-innings lead. The bowlers especially Ashwin and Burmah did a sumptuous job as India levelled the series 1-1. All the players played their part in this victory.
The players took their Twitter accounts to show their happiness and gratitude on this triumph. Ravi Ashwin posted a group photo with Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja, Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and Ajinkya Rahane after the completion of the match. Ashwin wrote, “When your backs are up against the wall, lean back and enjoy the support of the wall!! Well done to the entire team and what a win that was????”
Ashwin’s wife quoted the tweet and shared an emotional message regarding Ravichandran Ashwin. His wife said, “I have seen/ spoken to Ashwin after every Test he has played and after a lot of wins. But I have never seen him this happy, satisfied and light (can I say?) with a smile in his eyes in almost 10 years.”

Ashwin was extremely satisfied and happy with his excellent performance in the game. He has been bowling pretty well throughout the series. The 34-years old has given crucial breakthroughs to his team at regular intervals. Due to Ashwin’s quality bowling, the best Test batsman, Steven Smith, has failed in the series.
His wife’s comment made the fans emotional. Therefore, the tweet got good attention and made the victory even more pleasing. Ashwin got a huge amount of love and support as the post was flooded with comments.
At Sydney, India will play their third Test match on 7th January. India will look to continue their winning run and take a lead in the series. Australia, though, will be eager to overcome this defeat.
