Fans Are Trolling Rohit Sharma After A Picture Of Their Bill Went Viral: Cricket is regarded more than a game in India. It is more like a religion for the fans living in the country and abroad. It’s not every day that one will get to see his favorite cricketers from a close distance. On Friday, a fan named Navaldeep Singh spotted his favorite cricketers at a restaurant.
Well, the trouble began after Navaldeep spotted his favorite cricketers – Rishabh Pant, Rohit, Navdeep Saini, and Shubman Gill, while he was at a restaurant at the same time. He was so overwhelmed and excited after spotting his favorite cricketers that he paid their bill worth AUD 118.69 (INR 6683).
The fan also narrated the brief interaction he had with the cricketers after they found out that their bill had been paid by the fan. The fan also claimed that Rishabh Pant had ‘hugged’ him.
Little did the fan know that the tweet will soon land the Indian cricketers in trouble, especially Rishabh Pant. Cricket Australia released a statement where they claimed that: “The players – Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Prithvi Shaw and Navdeep Saini – have been separated from the Indian and Australian squads but will still train ‘in accordance with the strict protocols that have been put in place’ to ensure the ongoing safety of all members of the Indian and Australian squads,”
Fans lambasted Navaldeep Singh for putting the lives of cricketers at risk and for breaking the protocols.
Following the social media backlash, the fan later took a U-turn from his statement and posted a clarification that Pant never hugged him and cricketers maintained social distancing throughout. He also claimed that he wrote all that in excitement. He wrote:
“Clarification – Pant never hugged me it was all said in excitement we maintained social distance all thru:) Apologies for miscommunication @BCCI @CricketAus @dailytelegraph”
Not just this, a picture of the full bill that was paid by the fan has gone viral on social media and the content of the bill has sparked a massive controversy on social media as the bill shows that the cricketers allegedly consumed beef. Meanwhile, the fans on social media went berserk after the image went viral.
Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on this:
So, this bunch ate beef indeed. That's why the guy smartly hid the portion of the bill which had the mention of beef, but forgot to conceal it on Instagram.
WOW… SHAME ON YOU @ImRo45, @RishabhPant17, @RealShubmanGill!!!

He becomes Animal Activist on Holi and Diwali to lecture Hindus.
On other days, he and his team eat beef.
According to him, celebrating Holi and Diwali is irresponsibility towards animals.
But eating beef and subsidizing cow slaughter is Animal Activism.

Thank god.. Iam good at my eye sight and seeing 4 others sharing the table along with #RohitSharma and not blaming an individual about eating beef..
Haters searching a way to troll and fear of his success in next game though 😎😎😎 #Pant #Shaw "Rohit Sharma" pic.twitter.com/9kiulkUvsw— Hrishikesh Engala (@Hrishik17314459) January 2, 2021
Rohit Sharma preaches a lot about saving animals, environment etc. But he can't even educate his teammates to stop eating animals.
He shamelessly accompanies them and encourages them to eat beef and pork.

Eat spinach or a rabbit. But take down the Aussies. Give us Border-Gavaskar trophy. We are hungry too. 😎

Rohit Sharma is a vegetarian. Haters and assholes need to see this before dragging him unnecessarily. pic.twitter.com/D7qZsuhnid

There's literally no reason to defend Rohit Sharma by saying he is a vegetarian cause even if he did eat meat it's really none of anyone's business.
