Ind vs Aus: Australian cricket team managed to tighten their grip over the ongoing Sydney Test against team India. On the 4th day of the ongoing 3rd Test match, the Australian cricket team extended their lead, all thanks to the incredible batting performance from Steve Smith and Cameron Green.

On the other hand, team India is struggling badly to keep the opposition at bat and are fighting hard to save the ongoing Test match. The Australians also declared their second innings at 312/6 after 87 overs setting a huge target of 407 runs for India.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill impressed once again by giving a much-needed headstart to the Indian cricket team. Both the openers looked unfazed about the pitch behaviors or the target. Both the cricketers played some stunning strokes as well adding 71 runs for the opening wicket.

However, Shubman Gill edged a very good delivery from Josh Hazlewood in the 23rd over but failed miserably to convert yet another start. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma was able to cross the 50-run mark. And he looked set to make a big score, but Pat Cummins induced a pull shot off him only to get caught by Mitchell Starc at fine-leg.

Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara joined hands and made sure that they didn’t’ let Australians pick any more wickets. Team India ended the day on 98/2 after 34 overs and the onus will be on both the Test specialists of India to bat as long as they can on the fifth day.

Team India is also without the services of Ravindra Jadeja, Australians will need only seven wickets and are the favorites to take a 2-1 lead in the series.
