Though, he resumed batting but didn’t comfortable against the powerful bowling line-up including Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Josh Hazlewood. However, he couldn’t continue for too long and was dismissed a couple of overs later for a score of 36. He was later replaced by wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha in the second innings.

On Day 4, Wriddhiman Saha displayed some great athleticism after he gave the much-needed breakthrough to the Indian cricket team by dismissing Marnus Labuschagne.
