Twitter Hails R Ashwin After His Wife Wrote A Heartfelt Tweet

Indian Bravehearts R Ashwin and Hanuman Vihari didn’t run singles even when the ball trickled towards long-on, but they kept grinding out resistance at the Sydney Cricket Ground on day 5 f the 3 test match.

Ravichandran Ashwin displayed incredible resistance with the bat as he kept the hopes alive of millions of fans. He made sure to keep India in the hunt alongwith Hanuman Vihari.

Both the Bravehearts Hanuman Vihari and Cheteshwar Pujara ‘bored’ the Aussies into submission. Both the cricketers denied the Australians even a single wicket for the next 30 overs or so. Hanuman Vihari was struggling with a hamstring injury, but he carried on batting and stayed unbeaten on 23 off 160 balls. However, no one was aware of the fact that even R Ashwin wasn’t completely fit and was struggling in pain, but he played like a true champ.

Well, as soon as the game came to an end, R Ashwin’s wife Prithi Ashwin took to her twitter and revealed a shocker for fans. In her tweet, Mrs. Ashwin revealed that the cricketer was in ‘unbelievable pain’ last night, so much so that he couldn’t bend down to tie his shoelaces. She also claimed that she was amazed at how Ashwin was able to pull off today. She wrote:

The man went to bed last night with a terrible back tweak and in unbelievable pain. He could not stand up straight when he woke up this morning. Could not bend down to tie his shoe laces. I am amazed at what @ashwinravi99 pulled off today.”
