Rohit Sardana Wrote A Hard-Hitting Post For Those Who Insulted Sachin Tendulkar: The Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar, who is known for his words has found himself in the middle of an ugly controversy. It all started after Tendulkar led the way among the cricket fraternity and called for unity in India in what was seen as a response to the international media attention that the ongoing farmer’s protests received. Sachin had tweeted:

India’s sovereignty cannot be compromised. External forces can be spectators but not participants. Indians know India and should decide for India. Let’s remain united as a nation. #IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda”

Soon after Sachin Tendulkar shared the tweet, social media went berserk. While there were many who praised the legendary batsman, on the other hand, there were many who started criticizing the cricketer for not speaking in favor of the farmers.

However, things have turned ugly now as several Indian Youth Congress workers poured black oil and ink over the cutout of batting legend in Kerala’s Kochi. Reportedly, the Indian Youth Congress workers also took out a rally against Tendulkar with his cut-out in their hands.

However, soon Tendulkar’s worshippers came out in support of him and flooded social media. #IstandwithSachin started trending on Twitter, while many wrote heart-touching tweets dedicated to the cricketer.

Among many, popular journalist Rohit Sardana, who is very active on the micro-blogging site took to his Twitter and slammed all those who insulted Sachin. In his hard-hitting note, Rohit Sardana wrote how these youngsters poured the complete bottle of the black oil but they failed to malign the face (or image) of the legend. He wrote:

लड़कों ने कोशिश खूब की. पूरी बोतल उड़ेल दी. पर मज़ाल जो सचिन तेंदुलकर के मुँह पर कालिख टिक गई हो! इसी से समझ लीजिए. हर बात कह कर नहीं बताई जा सकती.”
