While the price of petrol has crossed the Rs. 100-mark in several cities in the country on the other hand, on Monday, the price of an LPG cylinder was hiked by Rs. 25.
Meanwhile, a hilarious incident has gone viral on social media. Well, in order to highlight the rise in fuel prices problem in the country, 5 liters of petrol was awarded to a cricketer who was adjudged as ‘Man of the Match’ in the final bout of a cricket tournament in Bhopal.
As per the reports, the contest was organized by Congress leader Manoj Shukla and the final match was played on Sunday, where Salauddin Abbasi was adjudged as the ‘Man of the Match’ and he was awarded 5 liters of Petrol. The video and images of the cricketer receiving 5 liters of petrol in Bhopal have been going viral on social media.
Popular Indian commentator and cricket expert Harsha Bhogle, who is very active on social media, also noticed the story and couldn’t resist reacting to it. He took to his Twitter and shared a news piece related to the incident. In his tweet, he expressed that gifting 5 liters of petrol was a useful prize and wrote:
