Twitterati Are Brutally Trolling RCB For Their Batting Collapse

Twitterati Are Brutally Trolling RCB For Their Batting Collapse: After winning their maiden match of the ongoing 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League, Virat Kohli and co. are currently locking their horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ongoing match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

While the fans expected another steller show by the Royal Challengers, however, the team failed to give a solid start to the game.

Before the game began at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, the toss was won by Sunrisers Hyderabad, who chose to bowl first. SRH’s bowlers put up a good bowling display. Even though they turned out to be expensive in the last three overs, however, they gave a brilliant performance throughout and were successful in dominating RCB batsmen by restricting them under 150 runs.

The RCB skipper, Virat Kohli opened the innings for his team along with Devdutt Padikkal, who is playing the first match of the season. However, the duo failed to give a solid start to the game and Padikkal had to walk back to the pavilion after scoring only 11 runs. Shahbaz Ahmed, who walked out to bat at number 3 also couldn’t contribute much and was dismissed after scoring 14 runs.

Glenn Maxwell gave a brilliant performance and scored 59 runs off 41 balls. He smashed 5 fours and 3 sixes as the wickets kept falling from the other end. AB de Villiers too failed to perform today and was dismissed after scoring only 1 run. The lower-order of RCB soon collapsed and the team was only able to post 149 runs in the given 20 overs.

Meanwhile, fans on social media were left disappointed with the performance of RCB players and started trolling the Virat Kohli-led side left, right, and center.
