Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) superstars Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers share a great camaraderie with each other. Having played together for years for the same franchise – Royal Challengers Bangalore, the duo share a great bond with each other on and off the field. Lately, as the Indian skipper Virat Kohli is facing the heat of critics, his pal AB de Villiers has come out in support of him.
Well, Virat Kohli failed to win another ICC event, as the Indian cricket team lost the World Test Championship final against New Zealand by 8 wickets. Ever since the defeat, the Indian skipper has found himself at the receiving end of criticism and a debate over his captaincy has been going on in the cricket fraternity, with several cricketers giving their opinions on the same.
Meanwhile, after the WTC Final came to an end, AB de Villiers took to his Twitter and posted a heart-winning note. In his tweet, he expressed how it was a pleasure watching the final for him. While he congratulated the Kane Williamson-led side, he also backed Virat Kohli and his team. He expressed that he is sure that Virat Kohli and his team will bounce back. He wrote:
“It was a pleasure watching the Test Championship final and I feel both teams did incredibly well to promote the format for what it really is, the ultimate test! Congrats @newzealandcrick with the win. Hard lines India, but I know @imVkohli and his men will bounce back.”
