Kane Williamson-led New Zealand won their maiden major ICC trophy after a long wait of 21 years. They put on a stellar show at the World Test Championship final and defeated team India by 8 wickets.

With all three results possible going into day 6 or the reserve day, the New Zealand cricketers bundled India out for 170 runs in the second innings of the game.
