“Shardul nets par chala gaya sidha”- Rishabh Pant Hilariously Tells Ravi Shastri: India and New Zealand cricket teams are all set to lock their horns with each other in the final match of the inaugural WTC final, which will kickstart from June 18. Ahead of the match, team India is sweating it out by competing with each other in the intra-squad match simulation. And the BCCI has been doing incredible work of covering every single day of practice of team India and showing glimpses of the same to the fans.
On Monday, In the latest footage shared by the BCCI via their official Twitter handle, very brief highlights of Day 3 of the intra-squad match can be seen with the likes of Ravindra Jadeja and Rohit Sharma loosening up to the England conditions. Infact, the video also shows head coach Ravi Shastri’s shadow practicing in the dressing room balcony.
While the whole 56-second video was pretty much a treat for the eyes, however, what happened in the final few moments has become the talking point of the video. The last few moments have left the fans in love with Shardul Thakur and his dedication to the game.
Well, in the end, Rishabh Pant can be heard calling out Ravi Shastri saying that Shardul Thakur left to practice in the nets as soon as the match-time for the day was over. Here, is the conversation that took place between the two. Have a look:

Ravi Shastri: Kya hua? (what happened?)
Shastri: Woah, udhar gaya hai? (He has gone there?)
Pant: Nets pe chala gaya sidha (He went straight to the nets).

Talking about the intra-squad match, on Day 3 Ravindra Jadeja scored an unbeaten fifty (scoring 54* off 76 balls), while Mohammed Siraj picked 2 wickets for 22 runs.
Earlier, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pnt impressed everyone with their stunning performances on days 1 and 2. While Pant scored 121* off 94 balls, on the other hand, Shubman Gill scored 85 runs. On Day 1, Ishant Sharma also managed to pick 3 wickets.
