Venkatesh Prasad Slammed A Popular Journalist For Insulting Indians

Former Indian speedster Venkatesh Prasad on Sunday slammed a popular journalist named CJ Werleman for using communal remarks to hurt the sentiments of the Hindus in India.

The journalist took to his Twitter and backed the New Zealand cricket team to beat the Indian cricket team in the much-awaited World Test Championship final, however, the journalist came up with a communal remark to justify his comment and hurt the sentiments of many Indians. He wrote:

I’m rooting for New Zealand in the ICC Test Championship Final because imagining 500 million Hindutva extremists being happy, even for a second, makes me miserable. “

The tweet soon went viral and was flooded with reactions from twitterati on this. The tweet obviously didn’t go down well with the Indian fans, who started trolling the journalist left, right, and center for his insulting remarks.

The tweet also caught the attention of Venkatesh Prasad, who lashed out at the journalist for using communal remark in Cricket. In his tweet, Venkatesh slammed the journalist by writing that it doesn’t matter who wins the ICC WTC Final but uttering such words showcases the ‘low and miserable life. He wrote:

“Whoever wins is fine, but what a sad low and miserable life this man is. The fact that this man is given an opportunity to write in publications speaks poorly of the publications. Get well soon Mr Miserable”

Meanwhile, talking about the much-awaited WTC final, team India is sweating it out ahead of the mega-event, which will take place in Southampton from June 18.
