There have been only a few batsmen who have managed to keep their form intact in the last few years.

1. Rohit Sharma:

Rohit Sharma, who used to bat in the middle-order, began opening during a bilateral series against South Africa in India when he scored two double hundreds and established his dominance as an opener in Test cricket. And since then there has been no turning backs for the sensational cricketer. With 1462 runs from 27 innings, Rohit Sharma is leading this list with an average of 58.48, which is the highest among the Indian players in Test cricket (with more than 5 matches since 2019).

2. Ravindra Jadeja:

India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has improved as a batter, over the years. He has played many match-winning knocks for the Indian side. With 791 runs in 24 innings at an average of 43.94, Jadeja is currently in the second position on this list.

3. Mayank Agarwal:

Mayank Agarwal is one of the most underrated batsmen. The cricketer has established his dominance in the domestic circuit, but despite this fact, the cricketer hasn’t got many chances to prove his worth in International matches for India. With 947 runs from 22 innings at an average of 43.04, Mayank is sitting in the third position on this list.
